Cleaning the oceans should be a priority to take care of the health of the planet and the living beings that inhabit it. Garbage has become a detestable enemy, its presence is unmistakable and damages the entire planet in the present and future. Unfortunately there is a place  called "the seventh continent" "the garbage island" "the toxic island" or "the great garbage patch of the Pacific" is the result of human depotism . Waste from all over the world gathers here and causes great pollution that affects everyone. Some sea lovers, such as Andre Turton and Pete Ceglinski, are surfers and during their training they realized that the amount of waste produced by companies or left by man on the world's beaches is increasing in the oceans. Because of their concern for the sea, friends Ande and Pete created a plan to combat a modern evil. This is the Seabin Project, a revolutionary initiative to sweep garbage from the oceans, which works like a floating garbage dump that sucks up the water and with it, the waste that sails; water filters, waste does not. Collect plastic bottles, paper, small doses of oil, fuel or detergent.

This device operates with a water pump that works on the surface and causes a flow of water in the container that attracts all the floating garbage. Waste extracted from the sea is trapped in a natural fiber capture bag. The sucked water enters the bottom of the bucket and is returned from the surface. The pumping is generated by renewable energy obtained through solar panels. This entire method is Europe Cell Phone Number List completely sustainable. The financing of the Seabin Project was through the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo with $267,667 raised. This device can work in ports, yacht clubs, waterways, rivers, lakes or even boats. The experts responsible believe that by the end of the year they will have marketed their floating garbage dumps. “One of the objectives is to make more 'Seabin' with the collected plastics themselves, to create a domino effect. The second objective is to create a world where we do not need gadgets like ours ,” reasoned Andrew Turton and Pete Ceglinski, aligned with an environmental commitment that is increasingly determined to eradicate garbage from the oceans. A simple solution to a giant problem.

Improving the environment around us, both environmentally and socially, is part of corporate responsibility, but to tell the truth, few organizations pay attention to this aspect. Some companies also tend to adopt the medians or parks near their facilities and use them throughout the year; They can also give volunteer hours so that their own collaborators paint walls or help in cleaning areas surrounding the offices; However, it must be admitted, they are not the bulk of organizations. Many of them only donate monetary resources and hope that others will carry out the improvements. Improving communities is not only an issue that benefits companies, but its impact reaches all those who live or circulate through them. This understanding is clear to designer Lewis Miller, who believes that a flower has the power to beautify even the grayest place. If you're wondering... who is Lewis Miller? He is a designer recognized for creating art from flowers and for filling with color those spaces in New York City that were thought to be lost. On this occasion, the designer and his colleagues decided to create an even more ambitious and supportive project that goes beyond a simple party or prestigious event.
