The Government overcame the legal barrier that prevented him from completing his appointment and confirmed this Wednesday Rodolfo Barra as attorney of the National Treasury. He did so through two decrees published in the official gazette with the signature of the president, Javier Milei . It did so by replacing article 2 of Law No. 18,777, which Europe Mobile Number List was worded as follows: “The Attorney General of the Treasury of the Nation must be an Argentine citizen, a lawyer with a qualifying title issued or revalidated by the Argentine University and have at least with EIGHT (8) years of experience in the profession.” In the recitals, he maintained that "the Law of Ministries (Law No. 22,520, text ordered by Decree No. 43892 and its amendments) does not contemplate any requirement to exercise the position of Minister of the Nation" and that "the article 16 of the National Constitution establishes that all inhabitants of the Nation are equal before the law and admissible in employment without any other condition than suitability.



Video Rodolfo Barra is a former Menemist judge and official. Javier Milei elected him as Treasury Attorney. He also highlighted that “article 18 of the Inter-American Convention on the Protection of the Human Rights of Older Persons, adopted by the Organization of American States (OAS) on June 15, , approved by Law No. 27,360, establishes that Older people have the right to dignified and decent work and to equal opportunities and treatment with respect to other workers, regardless of their age.” He pointed out, in parallel, that the impediment was "unconstitutional" citing "an analogous case" previously, and concluded that "for all the above, it is appropriate to eliminate that requirement that is not directly related to the efficiency and suitability in the exercise of the position of Attorney General of the Treasure of the Nation.
