La Rioja has registered a death from COVID-19 this Wednesday, according to the latest data issued by the regional government. On the other hand, one more day the drop in the 14-day accumulated incidence is confirmed from 498.57 cases per 100,000 inhabitants yesterday to 492.01 this Wednesday (6 points less), while active cases also have decreased, in this case compared to yesterday, from 1,009 to 977 (32 less). The healthcare pressure remains at the 42 it was yesterday.
As for the deceased person, he is an elderly man who did not reside in a senior center. Since the pandemic began, a total of 810 people have died from the disease, 323 of them residents of senior centers in our autonomous community.
