Candace Parker wins AP Defensive Gamer of the Year

On Tuesday,  Los Angeles Sparks celebrity ahead Candace Parker was named the AP's 2020 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year. In addition to the protective honor,  Parker was voted to the AP's All-WNBA first group as well. It's been a remarkable bounce-back period for Parker,  who had problem with injuries in 2019 and saw her play diminish because of this. Entering her 13th season,  there were uncertainties regarding whether Parker can return to develop.
